How Miravoice builds and tests voice agents from Slack

From a phone to a cloud development environment in ten minutes. Nori now handles about one quarter of Miravoice’s merged PRs.

Miravoice builds AI voice agents for telephone surveys and interviews.

Miravoice
A conversation, in motion.

From answering questions to doing development work

The Slack assistant it was using before Nori answered codebase questions but was very limited in the actions it could take as well as the systems it could connect to. One co-founder called it “completely unusable for development.”

A working cloud agent in ten minutes

At the start of the free trial, Nori connected straight to the GitHub repository, Google Workspace, and BigQuery; ten minutes later, the Miravoice team was able to use their phones to set up an agent entirely in the cloud. It automatically provisioned a phone number to test the changes, and this was all set up faster than it would take to set up the dev environment locally.

About one quarter of merged PRs

Nori is now responsible for about one quarter of merged PRs. Additionally, the team can call BigQuery, work with production data, load model weights, and pass pre-merge linting from their laptops or phones while they are on the go.

Anyone in the Slack workspace can now ask Nori to change the bot, get a phone number, test the conversation, and hand the pull request to engineering for review before production.

Development and unit costs in the same environment

The same environment analyzes unit costs across tokens, speech, call duration, and telephony, while documenting everything in a Slack thread.
